Last time I checked...

You know what's even funnier? making fun of stupid, shit-headed collaborators, who don't know their own feces from a 5. This kind of humour is on the outs. People are getting smarter (believe it or not). How much do you want to bet that the majority of your targets have twice as much - if not unsuprisingly more - substance than this? And, I bet they'd manage to keep glitches out of their flash too!

Looks like you know how to make a decent flash animation. You just haven't done it yet.

Looks like you havent made a decent flash yet either, actually doesnt look like youve made anything, so jus go on back into that ditch you call your home and go cry bout other peoples work more just because you cant do what they can, peace out noob

Change nothing!

Seriously, for this kind of flash movie... you aced it; spades!

REALLY creative stuff going on throughout this. It reminded me, in some areas, of the "Rejected" work, by Hertzfeldt. I really enjoyed that the blood wasn't accentuated, nor was the violence taken to an obscene level of glorification. There was excellent humour, cute expression, perfect timing, and it carried well, straight through to the end.

For an encore, I'd take the stick in a completely new direction. Single shot, multiple angles, conversation... depth of character. It'd be an awesome companion to this already wicked submission!

Keep up the great work!

dylinquint responds:

Sweet thanks for the review. The good review.

Waste of talent...

Take out all of the explicits, buddy.

You've got skill, but you're not putting it to good use. Most of this stuff has not only been done, but can easily be thought up in a few seconds by any angry and sex-deprived adolescent whenever they please. It is not entertaining, and it is not original.

Use your flash skills to make something fresh or exciting. Mario humour's cool. Mario going postal is cool. This depiction was not. It was boring... but, keep trying.

matthew-ferguson responds:

Im sorry you feel that way. It didn't take a few seconds to think of or make. This is my 3rd flash project. And I'm glad to see you put good and bad in there. Most of this was made at 12:00 Am. lol. But i'll keep your advice in mind! Thanks.

Details...

I could hardly see the red eyes throughout it. Is that what you wanted?

The ending was abrupt... maybe just fade out the image?

Keep it up.

kikkimikki responds:

Sorry, but as I said.
Its only a test movie...
I didnt put that much effort into it

Why is this under judgement?

Okay, I'll try to be objective, since I am still a bit excited that my music has finally been used in a submission.

Nothing really outrageous or surprising happened in your animation, which may be detracting from your score, as this has been spoofed and whatnot before. Still, the movements were pretty clean (as simple as the dudes were drawn). I liked some of the frags, how they were timed pretty well, ended up seeming funny.

The only two things I'd complain about would be needing something unexpected at the end, maybe over the top... that couldn't actually happen in the game? And, believe it or not, my track was a problem. It seems to make the intro seem even slower than it is. The atmosphere was cool, but don't know if it went with the rest of it. So, maybe speed up the intro animation, and toss in a new ending, and it's at least a 4.

Keep it up. :)

Greyfox999 responds:

Thanks :)
ill keep that in mind ;)

your music rocks btw

The music...

If you had only chosen some better music, it might've helped to take the animation seriously. Otherwise, it just seemed a little hokey.

Keep trying. :)

RebelliousStudios responds:

Don't worry...I'll improve the music and everything by the next episode...

Animation like this should be hidden away.

If there was a moral, I couldn't say. I honestly couldn't even watch this thing until the end. It was just too stupid and meaningless. Angry kids who wish to create visceral re-enactments should air them for self-help groups... not the general public.

Why did a man being beaten sound like a baby needing a bottle? Desperation, I'm sure, would not LIGHTEN the throatiness of a man.

cicla responds:

jejejejejejeejje

dont worry man i repect what you say and think...

thanks!!

Effort apparent.

I used to do stuff like this, and I know how much time and effort it can take. You did tight. This was impressive. I don't get impressed easily.

I would like to see you go above and beyond with some string/wire work. Make that clay fly!

Keep up the great work. :)

TheWesternHare responds:

i'll get right on that flying clay. thannks for the suggestion.

On another fence.
